Project Background
Contractor developed a procedure, New Methodology for Vehicle Miles Traveled (VMT), to improve the estimation of VMT utilizing a Geographical Information System (GIS) for database development and VMT analysis. The project collected and analyzed Average Daily Traffic (ADT) data by incorporating information obtained from cities and subregions within the SCAG area.
