Project Background
Contractor was to develop and demonstrate fuel efficiency improvements in the Cummins L10-300G, a 300 horsepower dedicated natural gas engine. Goal was to reduce fuel efficiency difference between the natural gas engine and its diesel counterpart from the current 15-30% to 7-20% in a typical urban bus day.
