Metro will offer Dodger Stadium Express bus service from Union Station in downtown Los Angeles to Dodger Stadium beginning April 1 with the Dodgers pre-game series and throughout the regular 2010 baseball season under a grant from the Mobile Source Air Pollution Reduction Review Committee (MSRC).A grant of $300,000 awarded to Metro by the MSRC was made in support of clean fuel transit service to link Union Station to Dodger Stadium. San Fernando Mayor to help direct Clean Transportation Funding for region

DIAMOND BAR, Calif. - San Fernando Mayor Steve Veres has been named to the Mobile Source Air Pollution Reduction Review Committee (MSRC). The eight-member MSRC allocates approximately $14 million annually to clean transportation projects in the South Coast Air District, which includes all or portions of Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside and San Bernardino Counties.Veres, who has served on the San Fernando City Council since 2003, represents the Metropolitan Transportation Authority in his capacity as a member of the MSRC.

As summer winds down and parents begin preparing to send their children back to school, TransVironmental Solutions' "School Pool" Rideshare 2 School Program is providing parents with a new way of getting their children safely to school, while at the same time helping to reduce air pollution. Not Your Usual Conference – The Green Tech Connect Forum

The Green Tech Connect Forum will bring together emerging green technology developers, government and the investment community. Technology developers will be profiling their companies, technologies and funding needs to prospective funding partners. The Mobile Source Air Pollution Reduction Review Committee (MSRC) has unanimously re-elected Temecula City Council Member Ron Roberts to serve as Chair of the MSRC, an organization that provides Clean Transportation Funding for projects aimed at reducing harmful emissions from mobile sources. The MSRC also unanimously re-elected Gregory Winterbottom as its Vice-Chair.
