The Anaheim Resort Area includes such notable attractions as Disneyland, California Adventure, Downtown Disneyland, Anaheim Stadium, and the Anaheim Convention Center. To service the millions of visitors that visit the resort center annually, Pacific Coast Sightseeing, in partnership with the Anaheim Transportation Network, developed and implemented a clean transportation system, referred to as ART - the Anaheim Resort Transit system. Art consists of a fleet of 32 alternative fuel buses that provide regulate transit services for business establishments located in the cities of Anaheim, Orange, and Garden Grove. Guests and employees are able to easily access area destinations. ART operates 365 days per year and offers frequent, regularly scheduled service on 13 routes within the Resort Area. The ART fleet is entirely clean fuel and is comprised of 10 electic buses, 22 propane buses, and two electric trams. The ART transit service allows travel in Anaheim without the need for a car. The general public is able to travel throughout the resort using ART, thus eliminating the need for hotels to offer their own shuttle service. As a result of ART's implemention, the previously operated bus service, comprised of ten 40-foot MCI diesel buses equipped with the DDC 6V92 engine, was removed from service.

Pacific Coast Sightseeing purchased eleven trolley style 39-foot buses for use in ART. The vehicles are equipped with the Cummins 5.9 liter propane engine. This engine is certified by CARB to the Optional low-NOx standard. Six of the trolleys were manufactured by Double K Trolley Enterprise, and five manufactured by Molly Trolley, Inc. In addition to the trolley-style vehicles, Pacific Coast Sightseeing also purchased eight El Dorado National 32-foot LPG buses. These vehicles are equipped with the General Motors 8.1 liter LPG engine.
To facilitate development and implementation of the ART system, Pacific Sightseeing purchased new, low-emission trolleys and buses. The MSRC, using its Clean Transportation Funding, co-funded the purchase of nineteen (19) vehicles, including eleven trolley-style buses and eight 32-foot buses. All vehicles utilze liquefied petroleum gas (LPG, i.e., propane).
The implementation of the 100% clean fuel ART system replaced over 40 buses and vans operated by local hotels and hospitality establishments. The average daily ridership of the ART system is 5,480 passengers per day.
All vehicles have been delevered, accepted, and placed into service. In addition, training for ART mechanics and supervisors was conducted, as well as additional training for vehicle operators.
