Project Implementation

The chargers were installed at various locations throughout the City of Los Angeles. The distances driven by the vehicles, public and private, which used the stations are not known. It is possible that the entire City and the Los Angeles basin benefit from the emission reductions these vehicles provide.

Project Results Description

Charging stations do not, by themselves, reduce emissions. They do make the use of electric vehicles more convenient, encouraging their use, and thereby decreasing pollution.
