Contractor implemented a fixed-route rail feeder shuttle service using Foothill Transit lines 701, 702, and 721 which provided shuttle service between the El Monte and Industry Metrolink stations and work sites within their proximity. These lines were designated "FasTrax" to show their special purpose. Lines 701 and 702 took ommuters from the Industry Metrolink to the Gale Avenue and San Jose Business Parkway Corridors in the City of Industry, as well as UNOCAL and Union Bank office buildings near the Puente Hills Mall. Line 721 provided service from the El Monte Metrolink station to the 3-M Corporate offices, Arcadia Methodist Hospital, the Arcadia Civic Center, and the Vons Corporate Center. Riverside Transit Agency (RTA) implemented "Metrolink Express" service, which provided weekday morning and evening bus route connections to the Inland Empire/Orange County Metrolink line. The line served the downtown Riverside Marketplace, La Sierra, and West Corona Metrolink stations.
