Project Implementation

Every area where vehicles are driven could benefit from the HEV.

Project Results Description

No actual fuel emission reductions were quantified. This program proved that hydrogen may be stored, managed, and burned efficiently aboard a HEV to provide a low-emission energy source for an Alternative Power Unit (APU).

Project Status Description

Photographs, engineering diagrams and dissertations. Also included was a "Diplomarbeit" written by Thomas Stuber which outlines his graduate studies done on the hybrid electric vehicle with a hydrogen engine.
