Project Background

Contractor purchased four 1998 alternative fuel vehicles; three compressed natural gas (CNG) Ford F250 trucks and one 1999 Ford electric Ranger. The three CNG trucks were assigned to the Public Works Engineer, to the Community Services Building & Maintenance Department, and to the Finance Department Purchasing and Mail Services Department. The electric vehicle was deployed to the Water Department for meter reading and customer service use.
