Project Implementation

The City of Lakewood prepared and issued a bid package. An award was made to the lowest responsible bidder.

Project Objectives

The objective of the project was to purchase one (1) medium-duty Ford F-150 pick-up truck equipped with 5.4L, 225 hp dedicated CNG engine with a life expectancy of seven years. Annual mileage is estimated at 10,000 miles. The vehicle will be housed at the corporate yard with refueling at stations around the City including the station near the Long Beach Airport or at the corporate yard.
