The Call for Projects is now open for the Southern California Association of Governments’ (SCAG) $10 million Last Mile Freight Program, made possible by Clean Transportation Funding from the MSRC. The match-funding program will support “last mile” transportation technology to help goods movement providers invest in cleaner trucks and infrastructure.
The MSRC is excited to announce that it is offering an additional $25,000 for eligible Class 8 trucks through the Voucher Incentive Plus Up Program. The maximum combined incentive for Class 8 trucks has been increased from $100,000 to $125,000. So, smaller fleets (10 or fewer trucks) can get even more money when they purchase a Class 8 truck with a new, lower-emission engine which meets or exceeds the optional low NOx standard of 0.02 g/bhp-hr.
