Project Implementation

The South Coast Air Basin and California will be the primary beneficiaries of this testing. There are no parameters to the areas which could benefit from the results of dynamometer emission testing.

Project Results Description

The completion of the engine dynamometer emissions testing laboratory will expand the Emissions Testing Facility (ETF) capabilities to quantify and verify the emissions reduction benefits of low emission engine technologies developed for heavy duty applications. This emissions data will be added to new and existing data bases managed by the state. The actual emissions reduced will be measured by the ETF in the near and distant future.

Project Status Description

Building details of the laboratory, information on the dynamometer, and testing procedures.
